National figures are 2025 averages published in RunSignup RaceTrends 2025, drawn from 97,127 events. Two limits worth knowing. No published dataset breaks race pricing down by region, so anything you type under “races near you” stays yours and is never mixed into the published average. And the report prices ultras and triathlons as whole categories, and nothing public prices a 100 miler or an Ironman on its own, so at those distances we show the category figure as context and give no verdict, rather than judge your fee against an average that does not describe your race.
